Our newest Beta version of BaconMap, BaconMap Guinea, has been officially released to the public. We've made some significant updates in this version, and are inching closer to our full 1.0 feature list. Thanks to all of our users for your feedback, and thanks to those who helped with bugfixes and code/feature updates.

Get it Now!

Here are some of the new features in this version of BaconMap:

Track the following information about all resources:

Annual Cost
Vendor
Purchase / Installation Date
Last Maintenance Date
Recovery Time Objective (in days)

The orientation of resource maps can now be specified
Updated the user interface to make things easier to read
Updated PDF reporting engine to allow for cascading sub-reports
BaconMap now has the ability to generate graphical reports with pie-charts and bar graphs
Additional PDF reports have been added
Many bug fixes and code updates

In addition to releasing this version as a zip or tar file on Sourceforge, the BaconMap team has been working with SVN on the Sourceforge site, so the most up to date Guinea code may be found at the following SVN repository,

We will be branching off to work on the NEXT version of BaconMap, but any errors or bugs we find or that are reported will be updated to there.
